Everyone that knows what a hypebeast is, are one themselves. Therefore it doesn’t exist. I’ll put it this way if the world was one race…… lets say Mexican, would the word “Mexican” exist? Or would we all just be human? Most of the people that go around calling everyone hypebeasts are just jealous that they can’t get what they want out of life so their hateful comments have to be translated.

Example 1;

“Damn, why did you get those, they’re ugly and hyped?”

Hate Translation;

“Damn, I wish I could get those…But I don’t have a job, so I’m forced to tell you that your pair sucks”

 Example 2;

“Damn you got ANOTHER pair of those? You’re a hypebeast”

Hater Translation; 

“I wish I could be like you, but I’m not motivated to do anything but look at pictures on tumblr and jack off to porn all day. I need a job.”


There is no such thing as a hypebeast in this culture, there are just assholes who believe they run the game.So they create the term “hypebeast” to feel they have an edge over everyone else, but in reality their reason for buying kicks isn’t more justified than the other people who buy them as well…They just believe it is. As a consumer I believe you should buy what you like, regardless of what someone else has to say about it.
